LPN - Medical Records Clerk/Coordinator

Sardis, MS Sardis, MS Full-time Full-time $22 - $25 an hour $22 - $25 an hour The Medical Records Clerk maintains the policies and procedures established for the record keeping of the nursing facility to comply with all regulations, bith Federal and Health Information Management Standards.
The Medical Record Clerk is responsible for assembling, performing the concurrent reviews as outlined by company policy, storing and protecting the clinical records and maintaining as organized record system for both active and discharged files for prompt retrieval.
Medical Records staff is responsible to the Director of Nursing.
Qualifications 1.
Demonstrates leadership and managerial ability.
2.
Has the ability to organize, plan and perform duties assigned.
3.
Maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
4.
Is of good emotional, mental and physical health, having sound judgement and high professional standards.
5.
Must be willing and capable of providing emergency assistance to residents as indicated.
6.
Is courteous in working with resident, families and employees.
7.
Must demonstrate ability to function as a cooperative team member with all disciplines in the facility.
